After Suniel Shetty’s ‘Dharavi Bank’ a few days ago, MX Player has now announced a new web series ‘Shiksha Mandal’, inspired by true events surrounding the biggest educational scam in India.
‘Shiksha Mandal’ will be directed by Syed Ahmed Afzal known for his works like ‘Baaraat Company’ and ‘Laal Rang’. The MX Original series stars Gulshan Devaiah (‘Shaitan’, ‘Hate Story’, ‘Badhaai Do’), Gauahar Khan (‘Tandav’, ‘Bestseller’, ‘Salt City’) and Pavan Raj Malhotra (‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’, ‘Tabbar’, ‘Grahan’) in lead roles.
In the first glimpse photos of ‘Shiksha Mandal’ launched today by MX Player, Gauahar Khan is seen in a no-nonsense cop’s role, Gulshan Devaiah as a teacher and Pavan Raj Malhotra as a man with power and influence. The overall serious feel of all these first looks gives intense gripping vibe.
Famously known for its series like Gautham Vasudev Menon’s ‘Queen’, Prakash Jha’s ‘Aashram’, ‘Campus Diaries’ that recently featured on the #1 spot in IMDb’s most popular Indian web series in 2022 so far and many more, MX Player has some great content lined up going by their recent announcements.
