India’s one of the major streaming service platforms MX Player is known for free streaming. They have made some highly successful original series like Aashram and Matsya Kaand. It also has a lot of Hindi-dubbed Korean series which are highly sought after by the fans of K-Dramas.
But, a major reason MX Player doesn’t have the same fame as Hotstar, Netflix, or Prime Video is the availability of international titles. If people were to purchase Netflix subscriptions solely because of Indian titles then they would have stopped operating in India.
But international titles do impact the subscriber base. The popularity of Stranger Things or The Boyz is a great example of the same.
Looks like MX Player has realized this and now they are working on exactly that. They have teamed up with Lionsgate which is one of the biggest entertainment-based companies in the USA.
They have made a plethora of films and some of them are highly successful. So for the next year, MX Player would be slowly bringing 50 Hollywood movies on their platform.
Not only that, but they also have a great chance to be dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
“Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1,” “Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2,” “War” and “Destruction: Las Vegas” are some examples of movies that will come to MX Player this month itself.
