The blockbuster Tamil-English series Queen is all set to make way to Telugu, in a different way. The Telugu dubbed version of the show will be telecasted as a serial.
Yes, Zee Telugu is all set to showcase Queen as a serial on the small screen. It will start airing from May 18th. It comes from Monday to Friday at 8 PM. So, if you have missed watching the show on the digital platform, here is another chance to view it.
Queen stars Ramya Krishna in the lead. She plays a role named Shakti which is based on late and former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalitha. Officially, though, it is a digital recreation of a book of the same name by Anita Sivakumaran.
Gautam Menon and Prsanth Murugesan jointly directed the series. It started streaming on MX Player for free from December 14th, last year. The series got a unanimous positive response from the critics. It initially released in Tamil and Hindi and was later dubbed into Telugu, as well.
Apart from Ramya Krishna, Indrajith Sukumaran and Vamshi Krishna played important roles. A sequel to the series is currently in the pipeline. The script work is going on. It is expected to go on sets once the lockdown is lifted entirely.
