‘Naai Sekar Returns’ is a spin-off of his character from the 2006 release ‘Thalai Nagaram’.
Vadivelu and director Suraj first united for the 2006 film ‘Thalai Nagaram’. The comic character Naai Sekar in the film was loved by audiences, so the makers thought of the idea of bringing him back with a solo film.
The film follows the story of Naai Sekar, who kidnaps dogs of rich people and asks for ransom from them. He mistakenly kidnaps the dog of a dangerous gangster and now his life is at a stake. The gangster is determined to find the dog and the kidnappers and Naai Sekar has to escape. 2022 has been a great year for dark comedies. You should watch this movie if you are a fan of the genre. It will be available to watch on Netflix in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada from the 6th of January.
