Tollywood Star Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is all set to make his OTT debut on the lines of his better half, Samantha who rocked the nation with Amazon Prime Video’s The Family Man 2. Chay has given nod for an Original which will be bankrolled by Sharrath Marar of Northstar Entertainments Pvt Ltd.
A source within the production house says,” The script has been locked and we are currently fine-tuning it. The makers are on the lookout for a young director with a fresh perspective to handle this sensitive subject. In fact, Naga Chaitanya is interesting in the OTT even before Samantha. He has been looking for the right script for a long time and finally found one”.
The official announcement will happen after the director is locked. The actor is currently wrapping up the shooting for his maiden Bollywood project, Laal Singh Chaddha. The actor will very soon begin the shooting of his Bangarraju most likely in September. He is expected to shoot for both these films simultaneously.
Meanwhile, there are rumors that Naga Chaitanya’s father, Nagarjuna also signed up for a Pan-India web series which will be announced very soon. It looks like the OTT is going to become mainstream among Telugu film industry stars very soon.
