Naga Chaitanya‘s Love Story was postponed at the 11th Hour after COVID Second wave struck India. The team is awaiting the situations to become normal to release the film. It is emerging that Amazon Prime Video has given a tempting offer for the film’s Direct-to-OTT release. But the team refused to take it.
Love Story Producer Suniel Narang is the Honorary Secretary of Telangana film chamber of commerce which is fighting against the the Direct-to-OTT releases. So, even though the offer is tempting he can not take that.
The movie has got a good buzz because it comes from the stable of Sekhar Kammula who last delivered a Blockbuster like Fidaa. Sai Pallavi who is part of Fidaa is the female lead in this film. The song ‘Saranga Dariya’ from the film is a massive chartbuster and increased the hype around the film.
As things stand today, the movie is being planned for September 10th release as Vinayaka Chaviti Special. That is only if the night curfew is lifted in Andhra Pradesh and an issue pertaining to film ticket rates will be addressed. Meanwhile, the post-theatrical Digital rights of the movie are with Aha Video.
