The second character poster for the upcoming Superstar Rajnikanth starring flick ‘Coolie’ has been released by Sun Pictures and director Lokesh Kanagaraj. The poster has the charismatic and pulsating star King Akkineni Nagarjuna on board expected for neck and neck pursuit with the Superstar.
The character Nagarjuna plays will be called ‘Simon’ who is wearing a black shirt with square-flared sunglasses and peeking at his gold wristwatch along with a red cloth on the other hand. The movie seems to have a star-studded atmosphere and Nagarjuna being its pivotal crystal.
The character is hoped to be raw, real, and rogue with an anti-hero shade and a mass appeal trait which he has been carried out since his inception. The character is expected to have a physiology and well-depth sketch for establishing the movie’s narrative. The movie is attempting to talk about Gold Mafia and the actor is a prevalent point for the effort.
There is not much awe when director Lokesh makes to perform actors from other industries on screen. His previous movie ‘Leo’ has brought Sanjay Dutt which didn’t bring much impact for the audience for various reasons like lack of emotional depth, enthusiasm, and the laziness of the ‘hero more powerful than anti-hero’ concept. Bringing up such an actor who has a mass audience where they expect to see their icon as ‘the inevitable’, the crew should possess the responsibility of presenting the star with no loopholes.
The actor can bring his amalgam of mass and class performance which will look appealing along with justifying the theme. Secondly, he can bring a large number of audiences who are largely inspired by his works in Telugu movies which set a benchmark example in Ayan Mukherji’s ‘Brahmastra: Part One’. Thirdly, the actor would be able to bridge the gap between the regional industries which will thereby help in regulating mutual growth of both of them.
For the superstar, this interaction will favour as a great pillar in pan-Indian success and it will be not something novel as he has done a similar thing for ‘Jailer’, which was his previous movie becoming a great feat and had legends like Mohanlal from Malayalam, Shiva Raj Kumar from Kannada, and Jackie Shroff from Hindi film industries respectively.
Let the aura, screen presence and alliance of both actors may able to blast the theatres in GOLD!
