MX Player and ALTBalaji are all set to premiere the dark and edgy show ‘Girgit’, their next collaboration in the digital space. The series is touted as an ‘obsession thriller’, which centres on a bunch of morally ambiguous people, all with grey shades to their personality. The intense web series is laced with dark humour, and showcases some of the most unknown desires that people can possess and how far they can go to get what they want in love.
‘Girgit‘ is directed by Santosh Shetty, and stars Nakul Roshan Sahdev, Taniya Kalrra and Trupti Khamkar in pivotal roles. The characters will be seen trapped in an unlikely hide and seek game to reveal their own distinct “Girgit” moment – an instant that showcases how everyone is flawed and is bound to change colours if they want to survive.
