But the ongoing crisis between the owners of Telugu cinema theatres and Andhra Pradesh’s government regarding the issue of reduction in ticket prices is hampering SSR’s box office performance right now.
However, we have a piece of good news for all Nani fans. The South Indian megastar’s latest instalment has grossed more than $650K at the US box office within five days of its release. It is one of the few South Indian movies that have managed to achieve this feat this year. It looks like the film will cross the $1 million mark soon in the country.
But the clouds of doubt are hovering over Shyam Singha Roy’s final box office result. Despite receiving critical acclaim, the film has earned only 30 crores after its worldwide theatrical dispatch.
