‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam’ is going to stream on Netflix India very soon. It will have its digital premiere on the 23rd of February. The cast of the film includes actors like Mammootty, Ramya Pandian and Ashokan.
The film had its theatrical release on the 19th January this year and had a pretty good response. The film is directed by ace filmmaker Lijo Jose Pellisserry. After ‘Ee.Ma.Yu’ this is the film fans were eagerly waiting for. He is quite famous in the northern belt too after rhe success of Jallikattu and its Oscar submission that year. So, Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam will probably have good views from North India too.
The films tells the story of Jameson, a bus driver who is driving a bus back to Kerala from Tamil Nadu after a trip. James stops the bus in a village and the passengers dodge off to a little nap. After lunch is over,James suddenly goes to a Tamil house nearby and starts acting and behaving like Sundaram, a member of the family. It creates confusion for the family members and the passengers of the bus.
The screenplay is written by S. Hareesh and the cinematography is handled by Theni Eswar. The visuals are really good, Theni has done a terrific job in the film. Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam gathered praise in various film festivals and was appreciated by audiences as well as critics. There is no doubt that Malayalam film industry is making the best films in India right now. And when there are names like Pellisserry and Mohanlal involved in a film, you might regret not watching the film. So, watch the film when it comes to Netflix on 23rd of February.
