Sony Pictures Films India has announced the filming of its latest film ’Adbhut’, a milti starrer supernatural thriller. Helmed by Sabbir Khan, ‘Adbhut’ is set for a 2022 release.
The teaser for ‘Adbhut’ released by Sony Pictures Films India starts off with a black screen and dramatic ominous background music of a clock ticking just before we here Nawazuddin Siddiqui telling to see carefully and then asks Shreya Dhanwanthary and Rohan Mehra what do they see.
But with pitch darkness around, nothing is visible. He then turns the lights on and everything can be seen clearly in what appears to be a study. And this leads intriguing looking Nawazuddin to explain to an afraid looking Shreya that if something’s not visible it does not mean it doesn’t exist, it’s just that there’s less light. What follows is a glimpse of Diana Penty in a car and a creepy aerial view of a foggy jungle.
With an intensely terrifying feel to the teaser that sends chills down the spine, ‘Adbhut’ is touted to be one of the most shocking films of 2022. ‘Adbhut’ is written and directed by Sabbir Khan and stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui (‘Gangs Of Wasseypur’, ‘Sacred Games’), Shreya Dhanwanthary (‘Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story’, ‘The Family Man’), Diana Penty (‘Cocktail’, ‘Shiddat’) and Rohan Mehra (‘Sixteen’, ‘Crashh’) in lead roles.
‘Adbhut’ is jointly produced by Sony Pictures Films India and Sabbir Khan Films and is set for a 2022 release.
