The first official poster of Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s upcoming movie ‘Haddi’ has been released. It will have a direct-to-OTT release and will be premiering soon on Zee5. The release date has not been revealed yet.
‘Haddi’ is a highly anticipated movie and fans think this is the one that can turn the career of Nawazuddin in a whole new direction after the multiple average and mediocre stories he delivered. Since the first looks of the actor from the movie circulated on the internet, there had been huge buzz around it.
In the poster, Nawazuddin sits on a chair with one leg up, and he is clad in a red saree. He has a blood stained broad knife in his hand. Behind Nawaz, there are many women standing there in awe. There is no expression in the face of anyone and it matches the theme of the story.
‘Haddi’ is going to be a gritty revenge thriller. Nawazuddin will be playing the role of a transgender who is out for avenging his kins. It looks like he is a butcher, or a kasai and is a tough nut to crack. There are other actors in the movie like Shreedhar Dubey, Ila Arun, Rajesh Kumar, even Anurag Kashyap. The movie is directed by Akshat Ajay Sharma.
The release date are not known but hopefully we will have the trailer soon. Fans are excited for a good comeback from Nawazuddin and it is painful to see such a talented actor stoop to Bollywoodish norms and bring abominable content like Tiku Weds Sheru.
