Vignesh Shivan, known for directing the film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, has earlier announced his next film, which will feature ‘Love Today’ fame Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead role. The upcoming Tamil film, ‘Love Insurance Corporation,’ is jointly produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar and Vignesh himself under Seven Screen Studio and Rowdy Pictures.
The announcement for the film was made only a few weeks back, and the title ‘Love Insurance Corporation’ was revealed. Earlier, reports suggested that Nayanthara might play the role of Pradeep Ranganathan’s elder sister, but current reports say otherwise.
It is said that the makers decided not to cast Nayanthara for the supporting role, citing lack of affordability of casting such a popular actress for a huge price. Currently, Vignesh Shivan is looking for a replacement, and fans have begun to make guesses already.
The romcom film, ‘Love Insurance Corporation,’ will feature Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty in the main roles, along with SJ Suryah, Yogi Babu, Gouri G Kishan and others. Anirudh Ravichander will compose the film’s songs, marking his 4th collaboration with Vignesh Shivan. While there is quite an enthusiasm in the progressive film shooting, the film has also faced a problem with the title. Life Insurance Corporation (now, read that again) has recently filed a complaint against the film for using ‘LIC’ as the title, creating a tension for Vignesh Shivan.
