ZEE5 has just dropped the trailer of its upcoming Telugu original film, NET. The trailer was launched this morning by director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and going by its first glimpse, the film promises to be a grim, gripping take on the dangers that lurk in the online world. NET premieres on ZEE5 Telugu on 10th September.
NET has been written and directed by Bhargav Macharla. The story centres on a young married man, Laxman, and how he is lured into the dangerous world of virtual stalking. An online subscription-based surveillance company offers Laxman the chance to look into the life of a pretty young girl, Priya, through hidden cameras installed in her home. Soon, Laxman becomes obsessed with Priya and her life, and lands into a complex situation.
NET stars Avika Gor, Rahul Ramakrishna, Praneeta Patnaik and Viswadev in primary roles. Rahul Ramakrishna plays Laxman, while Avika Gor plays Priya. The film offers a narrative that is imbued with thrill and a lingering sense of doom.
