Netflix’s much-awaited film ‘The Archies’ is gearing up for a release on the streaming giant. And looks like ‘The Archies’ release date is very very near. Netflix is on a promotion overdrive for the upcoming film, with two new posters released back to back on two consecutive days, announcing that ‘The Archies’ is coming soon on Netflix worldwide.
This morning, Netflix India revealed a colourful new poster for ‘The Archies’, showing off its young stars in all the glory of their respective characters. Each actor looks terrific as the character they’re playing in the film, perfectly capturing the quirks and characteristics of the beloved Archies gang.
Suhana Khan as Veronica, Khushi Kapoor as Betty, Agastya Nanda as Archie, Mihir Ahuja as Jughead, Vedang Raina as Reggie, Yuvraj Menda as Dilton, and Dot as Ethel, form the primary cast of ‘The Archies’. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, the movie will be a live-action musical, capturing the whims and fancies of our favourite comic characters from our growing up years. The film is written by Reema Kagti, Zoya Akhtar and Ayesha Dhillon.
Interestingly, Netflix’s The Archies is set in the quaint world of the Anglo-Indian community in 1960s India, which perfectly justifies the dressing sensibilities and unique looks of the cast of The Archies.

Yesterday, that is Sunday, the official Instagram account of The Archies Netflix had shared another poster of ‘The Archies’, which simply said ‘Welcome To Riverdale’, in English and Hindi. The poster was accompanied by the caption, “BRB, kursi ki, aur humari peti baandh rahein hai to go to Riverdale! Grab some Pop Tates’ shakes and burgers and get ready to meet #TheArchies gang, coming soon to @netflix_in!”
