Its official – Netflix has announced that ‘The Kissing Booth 3’ will release in 2021.
This announcement comes at the heels of the sequel ‘The Kissing Booth 2’ which has dominated the no. 1 spot in The Top 10 Films since its release.
Netflix’s official twitter handle tweeted the exciting news yesterday with a teaser video of the whole cast.
In a live streaming session on YouTube that included the whole cast, main lead Joey King announced the good news to fans saying, “It was the hardest secret to keep ever, in one day we’d be filming both.”
The filming for the 3rd part was finished simultaneously with the 2nd part before the pandemic halted all productions. The 3rd film is currently in post-production and is expected to hit Netflix sometime in 2021.
The entire cast including Joey King, Joel Courtney, Jacob Elordi, Taylor Zakhar Perez, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Meganne Young and Molly Ringwald will return for ‘The Kissing Booth 3’.
‘The Kissing Booth’ is based on the series by Beth Reekles and follows a high school student who signs up to run a kissing booth at the spring carnival where she comes face to face with her long-time crush. The second film continues the story line and ends in a huge cliffhanger so it’s great that fans won’t have to wait too long to see what happens next.
