Around a month back, a former US intelligence officer had testified and claimed that the government is trying to cover up evidence pertaining to UFOs and that it might be in possession of alien bodies. Although it was subsequently denied by the US Department of Defense, the revelation left the whole world wondering about the age-old question: do aliens exist?
And in case you are interested in knowing more about the potential existence of alien beings and UFOs, then you’re in for a treat. Because OTT giant Netflix has got hold of a four-part documentary alien centric series titled ‘Encounters’, which is all set to start streaming on the platform from 27th September onwards.
And the alien docuseries ‘Encounters’ is being backed by none other than the legendary Hollywood filmmaker Steven Spielberg, who himself has directed alien-based movies namely ‘Close Encounters of the Third Kind’ (1977) and ‘E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial’ (1982). However, Steven Spielberg has been involved as a producer and he has not directed the Netflix docuseries. ‘Encounters’ has been directed by Yon Motskin, who has previously helmed the crime documentary ‘Generation Hustle’ for HBO Max.
The Netflix docuseries ‘Encounters’ will narrate four different stories about the close encounters of the third kind from across the globe in each of the four episodes. The stories range from strange lights appearing in the sky over small-town Texas, underwater spacecraft in a Welsh village, an encounter with aliens witnessed by school kids in Zimbabwe and an intelligence of a non-human kind and its reported interference with a nuclear power plant located in Japan. These stories are told from the point of view of people with first-hand experiences of alien encounters.
