Fashion designer Masaba Gupta and her actress mother Neena Gupta are coming back with season 2 of ‘Masaba Masaba’ on Netflix. The filming for the same has begun but the only question is, where is Masaba!?
Announcing the commencing of shoot for ‘Masaba Masaba’ season 2, Netflix dropped a video wherein the crew is looking for Masaba to start the shoot. And to everyone’s surprise she is all ready and on the set to start rolling.
In this sequel season the mess that we saw in season one is over and it’s time for world domination. Masaba goes in front of the camera and Neena ji decides to go behind them. All the while dealing with new loves, old loves and some impossible loves. Both women take their careers, image, friendships and lovers, in their own hands and turn everything around.
‘Masaba Masaba’ is a Netflix original series that is a scripted version of the life of Masaba Gupta following her unique background, the diverse world she straddles across fashion and family and her love life. Masaba and her mother Neena play fictionalised versions of themselves in this fun series.
Starring Masaba Gupta, Neena Gupta and Neil Bhoopalam in lead roles, ‘Masaba Masaba’ is directed by Sonam Nair who has co-written the series with Nandini Gupta, Punya Arora and Anisha Raisurana. Ashvini Yardi serves as the show’s creator. Viniyard Films has produced ‘Masaba Masaba’ for Netflix.
Netflix had earlier announced the starting of shoot of Imtiaz Ali’s ‘She’ season 2 and now it’s time for ‘Masaba Masaba’. Both these shows were announced by Netflix in March as part of its upcoming films and series of 2021 under the hashtag #AbMenuMeinSabNew.
