This documentary will talk about the life and work of S.S. Rajamouli, who is the genius behind RRR and Baahubali. Actually, let’s just skip the boring part because Rajamouli needs no introduction.
Presented by Anupama Chopra, the film includes insights from famous filmmakers such as James Cameron, Joe Russo, and Karan Johar. James Cameron is the man behind epics like Titanic and Avatar. Joe Russo is one of the duo that directed Avengers: Endgame. Karan Johar on the other hand needs no introduction to Indians.
It also features interviews with Rajamouli’s close friends and colleagues, including actors Prabhas, Jr NTR, Rana Daggubati, and Ram Charan.
Netflix collaborated with Applause Entertainment and Film Companion Studios to produce this documentary. “Modern Masters: SS Rajamouli” is part of Netflix’s “Modern Masters” documentary series, which focuses on prominent Indian creatives.
This documentary is part of Netflix’s 2024 lineup of documentaries. Just like the Indian Predators in 2022, there is“Modern Masters” in 2024.
