Tamil Action Comedy film ‘Buffoon‘ awaiting theatre release on the 23rd of September, 2022 streaming rights are officially bagged by Netflix India. The film is likely to stream on the platform from October 22,2022 but an exact date is not yet official. However, the trailer of the film was dropped recently with positive reception.
Buffoon stars actor Vaibhav and Anagha in lead roles. Joju George and Tamizh also has pivotal roles in the film. Directed by debutant Ashok Veerappan, the film is produced by Karthikeyan Santhanam and Sudhan Sundaram under Stone Bench Films and Passion Studios banner. Although the film was touted to be a comedy, the trailer gives it away that the film has a tinge of action as well.
The film looks like a tussle between politicians and theatre artists. What will happen to the protagonist when he gets caught in deed, will he be released from all charges or will he be jailed for the crimes that he was forced to commit is the main crux of the film. Santhosh Narayanan composed the songs and background score of the film. Dinesh Purushothaman helmed the cinematography and Vetre Krishnan edited the film.
