Netflix today dropped the trailer of ‘Crime Stories: India Detectives’, one of its first true-crime docuseries from India. The four-part series premieres on September 22, 2021 on Netflix. The series is set in the world of the Bengaluru police, and follows their workings as they investigate brutal crimes in the city.
Crime Stories: India Detectives explores some of the most shocking and puzzling crimes that the city of Bengaluru has witnessed. A crew follows the Bengaluru Police and documents a never-seen-before look into the methods and working of Indian police. The docu-series will give a glimpse into the psyche of a suspect and a rare glimpse into the complex and challenging inner workings of four major crime investigations.
The show is a character based docu-series, which showcases four stories and will also give viewers a peek into emotional moments experienced by the police while investigating the crimes and their personal lives and personalities.
Crime Stories: India Detectives is a creation of content production company, Minnow Films, with founder Morgan Matthews executive producing Crime Stories: India Detectives, along with Fiona Stourton. N Amit and Jack Rampling are the directors of the series, while Tarun Saldanha is the producer. The show is originally in Kannada, and will also be available in Hindi, English, Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions on Netflix.
