Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget is set to arrive on Netflix on December 15. The streaming platform has unveiled the highly-anticipated sequel’s teaser.
Serving as a direct sequel to the original Chicken Run (2000), Dawn of the Nugget revolves around Ginger and Rocky, and their daughter, Molly, who will do whatever it takes to preserve their hard-won freedom. The leading duo escaped from Tweedy’s farm in the first entry.
The sequel will premiere next month at the BFI London Film Festival.
This time, we have Thandie Newton and Zachary Levi voicing Ginger and Rocky, respectively. The duo replaces Julia Sawalha and Mel Gibson from the previous film. HBO’s The Last of Us fame, Bella Ramsey, has voiced Molly, Ginger and Rocky’s daughter.
Other talents in the sequel are Romesh Ranganathan, Daniel Mays, David Bradley, Imelda Staunton, Jane Horrocks, and more.
Netflix’s Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget is a production of Aardman Animations, StudioCanal, and Pathe. The film’s music has been bestowed by Harry Gregson-Williams. Stay tuned for more updates.
