Netflix has dropped the trailer for ‘That ‘90s Show’ Part 2 and it picks up after what happened in season 1. A spin off to the 2000s classic ‘That ‘70s Show’, Part 2 of ‘The ‘90s Show’ will return to Netflix on 27th June with Part 3 dropping on 24th October.
Season 1 took place in 1995 and featured cameos from original cast members Topher Grace, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Prepon, and Wilmer Valderrama as they passed the torch to the new generation. Grace and Prepon returned as Leia’s parents, Eric and Donna, while Kutcher and Kunis appeared in the series premiere as Jay’s parents, Michael and Jackie.
The first season ended with Leia perilously close to kissing neighbor Nate before heading back to Chicago for the school year. What will become of her relationship with Jay? Or Nate’s relationship with Nikki?
In season 2 trailer Leia and Jay are excited to be together again after nine months apart, but she’s on edge since Jay still doesn’t know she almost kissed Nate. Nate is concerned that his girlfriend, Nikki, doesn’t know either. How long can they keep this secret? Turns out, not long at all. And when the truth finally comes out, relationships are threatened, friendships are at stake, and the summer is on the verge of ending before it even gets started.
‘That ‘90s Show’ stars Callie Haverda as the bookish Leia, Ashley Aufderheide as Leia’s new BFF and next-door neighbor Gwen; Mace Coronel as Leia’s love interest, Jay; Reyn Doi as snarky pal Ozzie; Maxwell Acee Donovan as Gwen’s jock brother, Nate; and Sam Morelos as Nate’s smart-as-hell girlfriend, Nikki.
Don Stark, Laura Prepon, and Andrea Anders are all returning, and additional guest stars in Part 2 include Will Forte, Seth Green, Lisa Loeb, Carmen Electra, Wayne Knight, Kevin Smith, Tommy Chong, Jason Mewes, Matt Rife, and Kadeem Hardison.
‘That ‘90s Show’ Part 2 will premiere only on Netflix on 27th June, 2024.
