We got our first promo for Money Heist Season 5 Part 2 – a small teaser, which was released on the official YouTube Channel of Netflix, yesterday. This short 45-second clip had everything we wanted and more – signalling the end of an epic thriller series. After one hell of a cliffhanger, the remaining five episodes will only drop by the first week of December, which means we have to wait another 45 days before the end begins. Check out this short teaser at the end of this article.
Like most ‘Money Heist’ promos, this one too has a very cool voiceover by The Professor, who talks about the death of our main protagonist – Tokyo. As he talks, we get a small montage of video shorts that show us the aftermath of her death, with the words “THE END” appearing halfway through the clip. This is then quickly followed by another ten seconds of a blink-and-you-will-miss montage of short clips – which features a few spoilers. So watch at your own risk.
Money Heist has been streaming on Netflix for a few years now, and due to its immense International popularity, the streaming platform restarted the Spanish series with even bigger stakes. While many have not liked the latter seasons of this heist series, it has still managed to create new Netflix subscribers audiences due to its ability to surprise its viewers. The show isn’t afraid to pull a ‘Game of Thrones’ on us AKA killing off a major character, and that has been one of its biggest selling points. After the death of Tokyo, many of us are left wondering – which of our favourite characters will survive by the end of this series?
The second part of the fifth and final season of The Money Heist will premiere on Netflix on December 3rd 2021. The first half of season five as well as the remaining four seasons of the same show are also available for streaming on Netflix.
