The time of The Geeked is near! Netflix has unveiled the trailer for its forthcoming Geeked Week 2024 celebration, scheduled to kick off on September 16 and end with Geeked Week Live on September 19 in Atlanta. Fans should expect plenty of surprises, updates, and sneak peeks from popular titles such as Squid Game, Arcane, Wednesday, One Piece, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Don’t Move, Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, Devil May Cry, Cobra Kai, Wednesday, Castlevania: Nocturne, The Sandman, Sakamoto Days, Zack Snyder’s Twilight of the Gods, Hellbound, and more.
Moreover, we got an additional sneak peek from Arcane Season 2 in the latest Geeked trailer. We see Ambessa Medarda (Mel’s mother) suggesting to declare martial law in the city of Piltover and its rugged, poor, and oppressed underbelly, Zaun, to stop the uprising from the latter region’s residents, thanks to Jinx. While Piltover strengthens its defense mechanisms, the undercity of Zaun gets united under Jinx’s leadership, teasing an upcoming ‘riches vs rags’ war between Piltover and Zaun.
This year’s edition of Netflix Geeked is special as it will include the Geeked Hall of Fandom Awards to celebrate the best and biggest fans. Winners will be honoured on stage and will be bestowed with awards. The event will also feature special experiences such as “Geeks Who Drink” trivia on the very first day. Moreover, the event will feature plenty of daily events, including trivia nights, tattoo events, fan screenings, and gaming opportunities.
