September is here and so are we with our reports on OTT platforms. Here, we will talk about the performance of Netflix India in the bygone month. But before we go on to analyse the performance, let’s have a look at all the new titles that were released on the platform last month.

Analysis
The month began with a highly anticipated documentary film on SS Rajamouli. The documentary promised to bring us the story of the gigantic man and everything that is behind his genius. But, it came out to be a highly disappointing film. The movie was badly edited and the dubbing was bashed left, right and centre. It is easily one of the worst Netflix documentaries you can watch.
Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba is yet again a film that failed to earn love. Needless to say, it received a great number of views but at the same time, critics and even the people hated it.
Talking about IC-814, it is a very well made show. Currently, it is under severe controversy, and there are some explanations to be given. However, we are not really sure about the views. We will bring a separate report on the views of the series soon.
Indian 2 is a matter of ridicule. The film suffered severe trolling and for all the justifiable reasons. It is a shameful film and it was rightly treated that way.
Kalki 2898 AD gathered a polarising response from after its release. But, the movie managed to earn a lot of views after its release. It is one of the strongest openings in terms of views and the makers must be happy.
Netflix India deserves a 7 out of 10 for its slate in August 2024.
