Netflix India is bringing the classic Bollywood talk show on its platform. But quite obviously it is not with the same spirit.
Those who follow entertainment know about Rajeev Masand. He is a highly experienced entertainment journalist who has created a massive impact through his decades-old presence in the industry.
He is known particularly for his round table chat show where Bollywood celebrities would talk to him and each other as well.
So Netflix India is tapping that popularity for a conversation session with Rajeev Masand.
But as we said, it is not with the same spirit. 7 directors who helmed Netflix projects like Jamtara Season 2, Monica O My Darling, Masaba Masaba, Jogi, Darlings, Qala, and Ariyippu.
So it will be more of a Netflix session and to know how they work at the platform rather than anything else. Sadly it won’t be having Delhi Crime Season 2 director who actually made the second most popular Indian series of the year according to IMDb.
The overall point is, this might help Netflix India gain some buzz when it happens to arrive for the audience. But we’ll have to see if this year was even worth celebrating.
Even after that, it is nice to see that Netflix India is trying to connect with the audience through their YouTube channel.
