King The Land is a superhit Korean show that gained immense popularity throughout the globe. It was released globally much earlier but arrived in India just a few days back i.e. on July 13.
The reason?
Netflix was dubbing the show in Hindi. The Korean dub could be made available before but Netflix didn’t release the show before they were ready with the Hindi audio.
Fine. No problem.
But where is the promise for which the show was delayed for so long?
Out of 16 episodes, only 10 are streaming so far. The rest of the episodes will start streaming from July 22 to August 6.
Fine. No problem.
There can be licensing issues that can be tolerated.
But, only two episodes of King The Land are streaming in Hindi so far. Episodes 3-10 are available only in the Korean language.
Then what was the delay for? If Netflix was not ready for all episodes of Hindi audio then what was the point of delaying the show for so long?
It is as if Netflix delayed the show for a promise that never got fulfilled. It is frustrating and unpleasant for the fans of the show.
Netflix India must refrain themselves from messing up fan favorite shows like this.
@NetflixIndia @netflix Watching series "King the Land" & after watching 2 episodes in Hindi, suddenly from the 3rd, language is only Korean, & even English is not there.
What the hell…
I want an option to have only titles from English/Hindi, The rest should be hidden..
