In July, Netflix India did nothing different from what they did in June. Just like Scoop was the winner in June, we have one series and probably the only title last month that somehow stands out.

Analysis
Let’s begin with Lust Stories 2. We all know that Lust Stories was a good film, and it helped Netflix India establish itself in the market.
However, Lust Stories 2 came out to be a highly disappointing film, which had just one good story. The views, too, were just like the film – decent for a week and lost all momentum by the time it came in the second week.
Kohrra was an original series by Netflix India that is a winner in a true aspect. For the second month in a row, we get a truly well-made series that is chilling, engaging, and good. The nuanced performances add life to the unsettling story, and it comes out to be worth the time.
When it comes to licensed films, we didn’t get many good options from Netflix. The Pope’s Exorcist worked, just like any other Hollywood horror in India, but it was nothing extraordinary.
Asvins and Takkar, yet again, were just another release that nobody cared for.
To sum up, Netflix India delivered one good title in the whole of July 2023, i.e., Kohrra. We expect things to be better from next month as we await Guns & Gulaabs and Choona.
Thus this month Netflix India gets 5 out of 10, thanks to Kohrra.
