The month of July is now over at Netflix India. It was a hot month indeed but Netflix India’s majority of titles failed to be even warm. Why are we saying this?
Well, before you read the analysis, let’s have a quick look at all the important Indian titles that started streaming on Netflix India last month.

Analysis
Let’s begin with the original film. Wild Wild Punjab is supposed to be a comedy film but it actually turns out to be a horror film. It is so badly made that you might be horrified by the mere mention of it. Even the views were not good and it helped us restore faith in those who watch Netflix.
Coming to the original series, Tribhuvan Mishra CA Topper was in controversy. It also had a really sensational subject. But, it failed to impress both the audience and critics. We can’t say that the reception was negative but it was certainly mixed.
The licensed films ruled the platform this month. The most popular among them was undoubtedly Maharaja. This film, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Anurag Kashyap in lead roles, was brilliantly made, and it was also highly successful in impressing the audiences. Quite obviously, the reception was astounding.
Aadujeevitham: The Goat Life had a similar fate. The jarring movie emerged as a massive success on Netflix.
The other two Hindi films were moderately successful with Srikanth having an upper hand.
Overall, it was just the licensed films that performed well on Netflix India in the month of July 2024. It doesn’t deserve more than 4 out of 10.
