Netflix India tried to bring some interesting titles this November and the most special among them was The Railway Men. But, let’s not forget Jawan and Leo. The two movies were insanely big blockbusters that also resonated with the audience worldwide, though not with the same magnitude.
But, before anything else, let’s have a look at the prominent titles that came to Netflix India last month.
Original Series
The Railway Men
Licensed Movies
MAD, Jawan, Sukhee, Irugapatru, Leo
Analysis
The Railway Men. It is YRF’s first venture into the digital space and they made a good start. Obviously, it is not something extraordinary. In fact, if you have watched Chernobyl then you would find The Railway Men pretty average. It fails to dread you from within, unlike Chernobyl.
Talking about original films, there is nothing to talk about really. Because there wasn’t any original film last month. It is indeed a sad thing but looks like Netflix was saving the library for December as we are expecting two original films in December.
Talking about licensed films, Jawan and Leo were absolute beasts and we just can’t talk about it enough. The films were from some of the biggest stars of their respective industries and their box office collection speaks volumes about their craze amongst the fans.
MAD, Sukhee and Irugapatru just came and went without making any noticeable difference.
Overall, Netflix India was saved by just two licensed films as it did not have anything great to offer. It deserves nothing more than 4 points out of 10.
