Netflix India’s 2025 Lineup: Jewel Thief, Rana Naidu S2 & More

By Binged Bureau - Feb 04, 2025 @ 12:02 am
Netflix India’s 2025 Lineup: Jewel Thief, Rana Naidu S2 & More

Netflix India is maintaining its strong positioning in the action and crime genres, as evident from its newest slate for 2025. Meanwhile, titles like TEST and Glory promise hard-hitting and gripping portrayals of the sports genre. One standout aspect of the streamer’s latest lineup for India is its diversity and impressive range, spanning 14 television shows, six feature films, and five unscripted titles.

Additionally, the total number of Netflix originals for the Indian audience appears to be slightly lower this time compared to the 40 original titles released in 2021. This suggests that the streamer is taking a more targeted approach, prioritizing quality over quantity.

Other titles expected to generate significant buzz include Dining With The Kapoors, Delhi Crime Season 3, AKKA, Jewel Thief, and more. There’s also an upcoming stand-up special from Vir Das, along with Netflix’s exclusive broadcast of WWE’s premier shows.

Jewel Thief (Film)

First off, we have a brand-new teaser for Jewel Thief, starring Saif Ali Khan as a charismatic and cunning con artist who effortlessly adopts different disguises. Alongside him, Paatal Lok fame Jaideep Ahlawat plays a powerful crime lord. Together, they plan to steal Red Sun, a dazzling red diamond worth ₹500 crores. This marks Marflix’s (Siddharth Anand’s) next project after Fighter, which featured Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone.

Rana Naidu Season 2 (TV Series)

We have also received a minute-long teaser for Rana Naidu Season 2, marking the return of Venkatesh as Naga Naidu and Rana Daggubati as the titular protagonist and son of Naga. The clip opens with Rana entering a boxing ring and beating the hell out of his opponent. Soon, we see Rana ensuring his wife (Surveen Chawla) to pull off one last job. But all eyes are on Arjun Rampal who looks more menacing than ever as Season 2’s antagonist.

Toaster (Movie)

This upcoming comedy-drama stars Rajkummar Rao as Ramakant—Ek Kadak Kanjoos—and Sanya Malhotra as his fiancée. However, their wedding is called off due to his extreme stinginess. The only thing that truly matters to him is his toaster, which cost him around ₹5,000.

Delhi Crime Season 3 (TV Series)

Shefali Shah returns as DCP Vartika Chaturvedi, aka Madam Sir, with Delhi Crime Season 3. The following teaser shows Rajesh Tailanf returning as Inspector Bhupendra Singh as well. The biggest addition to the upcoming season is none other than Huma Qureshi, who seems to be running an illegal racket for selling young innocent girls for grim purposes. Get ready to see Madam Sir battling her toughest case yet!
