Netflix India’s Top 10 Films & Series to Watch in the 10th April Week

For Netflix India’s top ten films list, the topmost title has been bagged by Hansal Mehta’s hostage drama ‘Faraaz’. The second and third spots on the Netflix movies list have been bagged by Jonas Cuaron’s fantasy film ‘Chupa’ and the Yami Gautam starrer in-flight crime thriller movie ‘Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga’, respectively.

On the Netflix top ten TV shows front, this week’s top spot has been bagged by the action thriller series ‘The Night Agent’. While on the second and the third spots of the Netflix list are the crime drama series ‘Rana Naidu’ featuring Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh Daggubati in the lead roles followed by the competition reality series ‘IRL: In Real Love’, respectively.

TOP 10 MOVIES ON NETFLIX INDIA THIS WEEK

10. Hunger

The Thai drama follows a talented cook named Aoy, who runs a family noodles restaurant in Bangkok. Her life takes a drastic turn when she is invited to join the ‘Hunger’ team led by an infamous yet ingenious fine-dining Chef Paul.

9. Murder Mystery

The movie features Adam Sandler and Jennifer Anniston in the roles of an NYPD cop and his hairdresser wife, respectively. They embark on a trip to Europe but get embroiled in the mystery behind the murder of an elderly billionaire.

8. Kill Boksoon

The Korean action thriller movie follows a proficient assassin who finds it hard to be a single mother to her teenage daughter.

7. Sir (Hindi)

Set in the 1990s period, the action-drama movie features Dhanush in the role of a Maths teacher who attempts to transform the education system and his students in a neglected government school.

6. Amigos

The action crime thriller movie follows the story of a Hyderabad-based businessman named Siddharth (Kalyan Ram), who learns about his two doppelgangers (lookalikes). They plan to meet in Goa, but the story takes a U-turn after one of the doppelgangers turns out to be a wanted fugitive.

5. Murder Mystery 2

The ‘Murder Mystery’ sequel takes place after the events shown in the first film. Full time detectives Nick and Audrey Spitz (played by Adam Sandler & Jennifer Aniston) get a high-profile case after their super rich friend Maharaja gets kidnapped for ransom from his own wedding.

4. The Woman King

Inspired by true incidents and set in the 1800s period, the action-drama movie follows the story of an all-female military unit general Nanisca (Viola Davis), who trains the next generation to fight against the enemies.

3. Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga

The crime thriller movie follows the story of a flight attendant (Yami Gautam), who plans to execute a diamond heist with a friend’s help inside a plane, to get rid of a debt. But their plan goes awry when the plane gets hijacked.

2. Chupa

Helmed by Jonas Cuaron, the movie follows a teenage boy, who travels to Mexico to visit his family. After reaching there, he finds and befriends a mythical creature in his grandfather’s shed. Now, he must embark on an adventurous journey to protect the mysterious creature from scientists.

1. Faraaz

Directed by Hansal Mehta, the film takes place over a period of one fateful night where the titular protagonist Faraaz (played by Zahan Kapoor) is taken hostage during a terrorist attack in a Dhaka café.

10. Shadow and Bone

The fantasy drama series revolves around the orphan mapmaker Alina Starkov (Jessie Mei Li), who learns that she is a powerful Grisha and how she attempts to stop the Shadow Fold from wreaking havoc on Ravka.

9. All of Us Are Dead

Based on the webtoon ‘Now at Our School’, it’s a South Korean horror show where high school students are forced to fight a zombie outbreak in a battle for survival, in order to avoid becoming the infected creatures themselves. Killing or getting killed are the only two options left for them.

8. Beef

The revenge-based comedy drama series features Steven Yeun and Ali Wong in the roles of a failing contractor and an unfulfilled businesswoman, respectively. The story revolves around how the two strangers get involved in a road rage incident, which brings forth the darkest sides of their natures and consumes them.

7. Money Heist

The show follows a hostage situation plotline masterminded by an enigmatic genius and his attempt to pull off a virtually impossible heist with the help of his skilled team.

6. True Beauty

The Korean romantic comedy series follows a high school student who gets bullied at her school for her seemingly unattractive looks. She learns the art of make-up and transforms herself into a drop-dead gorgeous girl and suddenly becomes very popular.

5. The Glory

The eight-part South Korean series is about a woman, who hatches an elaborate plan to exact revenge from her childhood bullies who destroyed her life.

4. Wednesday

The horror comedy series focuses on The Addams Family character named Wednesday Addams (played by Jenna Ortega). The story is about how the titular protagonist, a gothic teenage girl, hones her psychic abilities and attempts to investigate a series of brutal killings.

3. IRL: In Real Love

Hosted by Rannvijay Singha and Gauahar Khan, the competition reality series follows the lives of four singles and their pursuit for true love. Will they choose going offline or opt for virtual romance?

2. Rana Naidu

The crime drama series features Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh Daggubati in the lead roles of an estranged father-son duo. The titular character played by the former is the go-to guy for all Bollywood related problems. But all hell breaks loose when his father is unexpectedly released from the prison.

The action thriller series follows the story of a low-level but smart FBI agent Peter Sutherland, who answers a call which reveals that there is a Russian mole at the White House.
