For Netflix India’s top ten films list, the topmost spot has once again been bagged by the recently released comedy drama ‘OMG 2’ starring Pankaj Tripathi and Akshay Kumar. And on the second and third spots are Vishal Bhardwaj’s spy thriller ‘Khufiya’ and the rom-com ‘Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty’, respectively.
On the Netflix top ten TV shows front, this week’s top spot has been secured by the heist comedy drama ‘Choona’. While on the second and the third spots of the Netflix list are the South Korean action comedy series ‘Strong Girl Nam-soon’ followed by Omar Sy’s French thriller ‘Lupin’.

10. Insidious: The Red Door
Helmed by franchise veteran Patrick Wilson, the horror movie narrates how the Lambert family unearth dark secrets as they go deeper than ever before into The Further.
9. Nowhere
The Spanish thriller follows a pregnant woman who tries to survive against all odds in the middle of nowhere after escaping from a totalitarian country by hiding in a shipping container.
8. Jaane Jaan
Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the mystery thriller movie is an adaptation of the best-selling Japanese novel ‘The Devotion of Suspect X’. The basic plot follows a single mother (Kareena Kapoor Khan), who gets involved in a police investigation and is helped by her neighbour, a gifted mathematician (Jaideep Ahlawat). But a dedicated cop is hellbent on catching the culprit.
7. Kushi (Hindi)
The movie follows the story of a man named Viplav (Vijay Deverakonda), who falls in love with Aradhya (Samantha Ruth Prabhu). But the problem is that their fathers do not like each other at all. So, they decide to get married against their fathers’ wishes. But their married life suffers an unexpected setback and how they deal with it forms the film’s crux.
6. Gemini Man
Ang Lee’s sci-fi action film features Will Smith in the role of a highly skilled and experienced sniper on his last mission. The hitman becomes a target of a younger and stronger cloned version of himself which has been created by a corrupt military organization.
5. Jurassic World: Dominion
Helmed by Colin Trevorrow, the film’s story takes place four years after the events of Fallen Kingdom when Isla Nubar was destroyed. The sequel follows ex-Navy man and animal expert Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and former park manager Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard), who team up with Dr. Ellie (Laura Dern), Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and Dr. Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) to unearth an evil conspiracy by Biosyn.
4. Kasargold
The action thriller movie is about a gold smuggler Alby (Asif Ali), who loses a batch of smuggled gold right before the delivery. He is ordered by his boss to find a man named Faisal (Sunny Wayne), the suspected thief. But there is more to the story than meets the eye.
3. Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty
The romantic comedy movie follows a London-based chef Miss Anvika Shetty (Anushka Shetty), who wants to lead a single life without getting married.But the other protagonist – Hyderabad-based stand-up comedian Mr. Sidhu Shetty (Naveen Polishetty) is completely different as he wants a committed relationship. The story takes a turn when Miss Shetty wants to have a baby and is looking for a sperm donor.
2. Khufiya
Based on Amar Bhushan’s novel ‘Escape to Nowhere’, Vishal Bhardwaj’s spy thriller movie features Tabu in the role of a RAW agent, who tries to track down a mole and avenge the death of an undercover spy. The film also features Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Atul Kulkarni in important roles.
1. OMG 2
The film follows the story of Kanti Mudgal (Pankaj Tripathi), a staunch devotee of Lord Shiva, whose life takes a drastic turn when his son is expelled from school. With a mysterious and charismatic being (Akshay Kumar) on his side, Kanti decides to file a case against the school and those he thinks are responsible for his son’s condition.

10. Jujutsu Kaisen
The anime action-adventure series follows a high school student who accidentally finds himself dealing with supernatural happenings after he becomes host to a cursed demon named Sukuna.

The action-adventure series is a live-action adaptation of the popular manga and follows the seafaring adventures of the Straw hat Pirates who are on a mission to find the titular treasure called One Piece. But they are not the only ones searching for it.
8. Destined With You
The South Korean fantasy drama series follows a successful lawyer who suffers from a disease due to a curse that runs in his family. Now, an ordinary civil servant holds the key for getting rid of his curse and develops a romantic bond between the two.
7. Beckham
The four-part documentary series revolves around the life of David Beckham and how he became a globally popular football player through several interviews and archival footage.
6. Sex Education
This widely acclaimed British comedy-drama series focuses on school students and their parents at the Moordale Secondary School. The previous season of the show started off with a new term at Moordale School as students get a new headteacher, whose mission is to get the school back on track.
5. Spy X Family
Based on a Japanese manga, the anime series follows a spy, who goes on an undercover mission for which he must build a fake family. He poses as a caring husband and a loving father, but he is not aware that his wife and daughter have some big secrets of their own.
4. The Fall of the House of Usher
Mike Flanagan’s horror drama series revolves around the CEO of an unethical pharma company, who must deal with his dubious past after his heirs begin to die one by one in a brutal way.
3. Lupin
The French thriller features Omar Sy in the role of a gentleman thief, who makes it his mission to exact revenge for the injustice done to his father many years back.
2. Strong Girl Nam-soon
A girl blessed with superhuman strength goes back to Gangman, South Korea in order to find her parents but she gets involved in a drug case.
1. Choona
The series is a satirical heist comedy drama with ‘Maachis’ actor Jimmy Sheirgill in the lead role. The underlying plot of the show revolves around a group of people who have a common enemy – a ruthless, corrupt, and superstitious politician. These bunch of misfits team up to exact revenge from the politician by executing a heist.
