For Netflix India’s top ten films list, the top-ranked title has been bagged by Abhishek Bachchan starrer social comedy-drama movie ‘Dasvi’. While on the second and the spots on the list are the supernatural comedy movie ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’ and Kabir Khan’s critically acclaimed cricket-based film ‘83’ starring Ranveer Singh.
On the Netflix top ten TV shows front, this week’s top spot is held by the recently released revenge drama ‘Mai’ starring Sakshi Tanwar in the titular role. And the second and the third spots are bagged by the period drama series ‘Bridgerton’ and the South Korean show ‘Business Proposal’, respectively.

10. Hey Sinamika
A weather scientist Mouna (Aditi Rao Hydari) and a loving man Yaazhan (Dulquer Salmaan) are madly in love with each other and soon get married. But a couple of years later, Mouna feels annoyed with her talkative husband. She decides to hitch him with another woman Dr. Malarvizhi (Kajal Aggarwal) for a divorce. But the goings-on take an interesting turn when the doctor actually falls for Yaazhan.
9. The In Between
The science-fiction romantic movie follows the female teenage protagonist who begins to feel that she is somehow being contacted by her deceased lover, who had died in a car accident which she had survived.
8. Choose or Die
With a chance to win a massive $100,000 prize of unclaimed money, a college dropout, and a programmer reboots a 1980s survival video game. However, she gets stuck in the mysterious reality-bending game and must now face the repercussions of unleashing a dangerous curse.
7. Badhaai Do
Helmed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni, the comedy-drama film revolves around a policeman Shardul Thakur (Rajkummar Rao), and a physical education teacher Sumi Singh (Bhumi Pednekar), and their marriage of convenience to hide their sexual orientation. But things do not go as smoothly as they had expected.
6. Etharkkum Thunindhavan
Written and directed by Pandiraj, ‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan’ is an action thriller movie that revolves around the story of a High Court lawyer Kannabiran (played by Suriya). He is forced to go beyond the law after he loses a legal battle against a criminal mastermind Inba. Thereafter, the lawyer becomes the judge, jury, and executioner to deliver justice in his own way.
5. Etharkkum Thunindhavan (Hindi)

4. Night Drive
Helmed by Vysakh, the film’s plot follows a young couple Riya Roy (Anna Ben) and Georgy (Roshan Matthews). Riya is a popular news anchor while Georgy is a cab driver. On Riya’s birthday, they go out for a romantic night drive but get entangled in an accident case. On their trail is an upright cop and they soon cross paths with a corrupt and influential politician.
3. 83
The film is about the Indian cricket team’s historic victory at the 1983 cricket world cup. Ranveer Singh essays the role of the Indian cricket team’s legendary captain Kapil Dev, and the film portrays his and his teammates’ incredible journey from being an underdog team to lifting the world cup by beating the formidable West Indians at the Lords Cricket Ground on 25th June 1983.
2. Ghostbusters: Afterlife
A sequel to the 1980s Ghostbuster movies and set 32 years after the events of the second film, ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’ revolves around how a single mother and her two children relocate to a wrecked house in a small town in Oklahoma. There, the kids learn about their connection with the Ghostbusters and about their grandfather’s secret.
1. Dasvi
Helmed by Tushar Jalota in his directorial debut, the social comedy-drama film features Abhishek Bachchan in the role of powerful Jaat politician Gangaram Chaudhary. He is sent behind bars for an alleged teacher recruitment scam and makes his wife (Nimrat Kaur) the new CM. In jail, he has an ego clash with the upright jailor (Yami Gautam). Now the eighth pass politician must prove his mettle and pass the tenth-class exam while learning valuable lessons along the way.

10. Money Heist
The show follows a hostage situation plotline masterminded by an enigmatic genius and his attempt to pull off a virtually impossible heist with the help of his skilled team.
9. Friends
‘Friends’ is a universally acclaimed sitcom show that revolves around the six friends played by Jennifer Anniston, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and Matthew Perry living together in New York City and the vicissitudes in their inter-personal relationships formed the show’s central theme.
8. Twenty Five Twenty One
Set mainly in the year 1998, the show’s plot revolves around how the South Korean financial crisis affected the lives of a young fencing prodigy Na Hee Do (played by Kim So-hyun) and a hard-working man named Baek Yi Jin (Nam Joo-hyuk), whose father’s business has become bankrupt.
7. All of Us Are Dead
Based on the webtoon ‘Now at Our School’, it’s a South Korean show where high school students are forced to fight a zombie outbreak in a battle for survival, in order to avoid becoming the infected creatures themselves. Killing or getting killed are the only two options left for them.
6. Elite
It’s a Spanish drama thriller show that is set amidst the backdrop of an elite school called Las Encinas in Spain. Narrated in two timelines, the show’s plot revolves around the glaring disparities between the school’s super affluent students and their working-class teenage counterparts. The show’s fifth season had started streaming from 8th April on Netflix.
5. Happiness
It’s a South Korean apocalyptic thriller set in the near future. Special Operation Unit police squad member Yoon Sae-bom moves into her new apartment with her high school friend and detective Jung Yi-hyun. However, her happiness is short-lived after the outbreak of an infectious disease that results in her apartment getting sealed off. Now, the residents must learn to trust each other in order to survive the pandemic.
4. Anatomy of a Scandal
Based on Sarah Vaughan’s book of the same name, the opening season of the British anthology series revolves around Sophie (Sienna Miller), the wife of a parliamentary minister James Whitehouse (Rupert Friend). But Sophie’s privileged life is turned upside down when her husband is accused of sexual assault and is taken to court.
3. Business Proposal
The South Korean show follows the story of a woman named Shin Ha-ri, who goes out on a blind date instead of her unwilling friend. However, by a twist of fate, the prospective partner she meets turns out to be the CEO of the company where she works.
2. Bridgerton
Based on Julia Quinn’s novels and set amidst the backdrop of Regency-era London, the show follows the lives of eight siblings who belong to the rich and influential Bridgerton family and their quest to find love in the high society of London.

The six-part revenge drama revolves around a submissive and mild-mannered middle-class mother (Sakshi Tanwar), who investigates the mysterious death of her mute daughter (Wamiqa Gabbi). While doing that, she accidentally kills a powerful man. Thereafter, she must survive the ruthless world of crime, corruption, and dirty politics in order to find the truth. The show also features Raimi Sen, Vivek Mushran, Prashant Narayanan, and Seema Pahwa in important roles.
