For Netflix India’s top ten films list, the top-ranked title has been bagged by the romantic comedy movie ‘Plan A Plan B’ featuring Tamannaah Bhatia and Riteish Deshmukh in the lead roles.
While on the second and the third spots of the Netflix list are the action-comedy film ‘Saakini Daakini’ starring Regina Cassandra and Nivetha Thomas followed by the Hollywood romantic drama ‘After Ever Happy’.
On the Netflix top ten TV shows front, this week’s top spot has been bagged by the crime drama ‘Jamtara – Sabka Number Aayega’ followed by the Jeffrey Dahmer based crime show ‘Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story’ and the widely acclaimed medical drama ‘The Good Doctor’.

TOP 10 MOVIES ON NETFLIX INDIA THIS WEEK
10. RRR (Hindi)
S.S Rajamouli’s period action movie features Ram Charan and Jr.NTR in the lead roles and Ajay Devgn, and Alia Bhatt in pivotal roles. ‘RRR’ is a fictional tale set in the 1920s that revolves around two legendary Indian revolutionaries namely Alluri Sitarama Raju (played by Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (played by Jr. NTR).
9. Ek Villain Returns
Mohit Suri’s romantic thriller ‘Ek Villain Returns’ features John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani, and Tara Sutaria in the lead roles. The story follows two men with one-sided love and how their decisions and the path they take decide who is the hero and the villain amongst them.
8. HIT: The First Case
Helmed by Sailesh Kolanu, the film’s plot revolves around an astute police officer of the titular Homicide Intervention Team aka HIT who makes it his mission to find a missing woman which will help him solve the disappearance case of his lover. The mystery thriller features Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra in the lead roles.
7. Jogi
The film is set in the year 1984 in Delhi against the brutal backdrop of the anti-Sikh riots and the plot revolves around how the protagonist (played by actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh) takes up the daredevil task of transporting a large group of people from Delhi to Mohali.
6. Last Seen Alive
The action thriller movie features Gerard Butler as a distressed man who must race against time to find his wife after she suddenly disappears from a gas station. But the problem is that he himself has become the prime suspect in the eyes of the authorities and is now on the run while trying to solve the mystery.
5. Natchathiram Nagargiradhu
Pa Ranjith’s ‘Natchathiram Nagargiradhu’ is set amidst the backdrop of the Pondicherry theatre space. The story is about a group of theatre artists from different castes and genders and how they try to zero down on what their next play should be about. The movie touches upon different forms of love such as inter-caste, inter-faith, straight, same-sex love, etc. The film’s main characters include Iniyan (Kalidas Jayaram), Rene (Dushara Vijayan), Arjun (Kalai Arasan) and Madeleine (Manisa Tait), amongst others.
4. Blonde
‘Blonde’ is a fictionalized account of the iconic Hollywood actress Marilyn Monroe and is based on the bestselling book of the same name by Joyce Carol Oates. The film features Cuban-Spanish actress Ana de Armas in the lead role and reimagines the life story of the star, how she rose to fame and at what cost.
3. After Ever Happy
Based on Anna Todd’s 2015 novel of the same name, the romantic drama movie revolves around the relationship between Tessa (Josephine Langford) and Hardin (Hero Fiennes-Tiffin), After shocking secrets about their families are revealed, their relationship is put to test. Can their love endure the hardships they are undergoing?
2. Saakini Daakini
The action-comedy movie follows the story of two police trainees and close friends Damini and Shalini (played by Regina Cassandra and Nivetha Thomas), who become witnesses to the kidnapping of a girl. The cop duo teams up to track the girl and punish the culprits without much assistance from the department.

Helmed by Shashanka Ghosh, the romantic comedy movie revolves around two disparate individuals played by Tamannaah Bhatia and Riteish Deshmukh. The woman’s character is that of a matchmaker who opines that marriage is for everyone excluding herself. While the man in the love story is a successful but cynical divorce lawyer who harbors a secret of his own. When the matchmaker moves her office beside the lawyer, the situation gets complex, and sparks fly.

10. Thai Cave Rescue
The six-part series revolves around the incredible real-life story of the Tham Luang cave rescue incident that happened in Thailand in the year 2018. It’s a detailed account of how a junior football team comprising twelve boys and their assistant coach got trapped in a cave for 18 days because of severe monsoon flooding. It’s been told from the soccer team’s point of view.
9. Fate: The Winx Saga
It’s a live action adaptation of Nickelodeon’s animated series ‘Winx Club’ and revolves around Bloom, a fairy with fire related powers who joins the magical boarding school at Alfea. There, she meets other fairies with different powers and together they must find a way to overcome formidable ancient creatures from wreaking havoc and destruction.
8. Stranger Things
The initial story, set in the 1980s, revolves around a young boy’s disappearance and the ensuing investigation by his mother, police chief, and his friends amidst supernatural events. The sci-fi horror series (latest season) follows the aftereffects of the devastating Battle of Starcourt at the Hawkins town in Indiana. The show’s young protagonists are now living separately and trying to move on in their lives. At this juncture, a long-buried, supernatural threat that connects everything, emerges on Earth and the Upside Down.
7. Delhi Crime
International Emmy Award-winning show features Shefali Shah as senior cop DCP Vartika Chaturvedi alongside proficient actors like Rajesh Tailang (Mirzapur, Selection Day), Rasika Dugal (Mirzapur, Out of Love) and Adil Hussain (English Vinglish, Agent Vinod), amongst others. The first season revolved around the police investigation to nab the culprits responsible for the despicable gang rape that happened in the capital city. The second season follows a fictionalized take on a true crime that follows the cop’s new case which revolves around the killings of several senior citizens in the capital city by a brutal gang of killers.
6. The Empress
The German historical romantic drama series revolves around the life of Empress Elizabeth of Austria, who falls in love with Emperor Franz Joseph of Austria-Hungary, and they marry each other. After marriage, she must deal with her power-hungry mother-in-law and Franz’s brother Max.
5. Dynasty
A modern-day rehash of the popular 1980s opera of the same name, the series revolves around two most affluent American families – the Carringtons and the Colbeys and their nasty fight to stay on the top of the game and most importantly, to stay wealthy.
4. Little Women
The twelve-part South Korean series is an adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s novel of the same name. The story revolves around three impoverished sisters who share a close bond and how they get involved in a face-off against an affluent family.
3. The Good Doctor
The underlying premise of the engaging medical drama ‘The Good Doctor’ revolves around Shaun Murphy – an autistic surgical resident with savant syndrome and his quotidian experiences as he relocates to a prestigious California-based hospital.
2. Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story
The crime drama series revolves around the notorious serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer aka Milwaukee Monster (played by Evan Peters) and is narrated from the perspective of the killer’s victims. The show focuses on how incompetence and leniency by the authorities and how Dahmer got away on multiple occasions.
1. Jamtara – Sabka Number Ayega
‘Jamtara’ is set in the Jamtara region of the Eastern Indian State of Jharkhand. The premise is about a group of small-town and ambitious youngsters led by the protagonists Rocky (Anshuman Pushkar) and Sunny (Sparsh Shrivastava) who are the brains behind a profitable social engineering phishing operation.
