Netflix has announced and unveiled the first look of ‘Arnold’, a three part limited docu-series about the life of actor and politician Arnold Schwarzenegger, that perfectly encapsulates the essence of the athlete, actor and politician spanning over five decades.
This latest limited series lets Arnold Schwarzenegger tell his own life story and as the orator of his own story, the former governor of California provides audiences with context and insight into three key chapters of his life: Arnold as an athlete, Arnold as an actor and Arnold as an American.
‘Arnold’ will show how Schwarzenegger reinvented himself countless times as a professional bodybuilder, actor, filmmaker, businessman and politician, ultimately building an inspiring résumé for a kid from a small town in Austria.
The three part series is directed by Lesley Chilcott (An Inconvenient Truth) and executive produced by Allen Hughes (The Defiant Ones). ‘Arnold’ will premiere on Netflix on 7th June and will be Schwarzenegger’s second outing on Netflix after ‘Fubar’, a new high-octane action series where he plays a CIA operative on the verge of retirement until he’s asked to do one last job.
