Netflix has announced its latest thriller series ‘Out Of The Dust’ starring ‘Sex Education’ fame ASA Butterfield and Molly Windsor in the lead. Coming from the ‘Intergalactic’ writer Julie Gearey, ‘Out Of The Dust’ will also star Christopher Eccleston, Siobhan Finneran, and Fra Free in prominent roles.
A six episode psychological thriller drama, ‘Out Of The Dust’ follows Rosie (Windsor), who lives in a cloistered Christian community with her husband, Adam (Butterfield), and their daughter. The fateful arrival of the mysterious Sam (Free), an escaped prisoner, reveals the reality and restraints of Rosie’s world. Soon it becomes clear that conservative religious sect that Rosie is a part of doesn’t have anything to do with her best interest. Moreover, when Rosie and Adam’s marriage seems to be falling apart, Sam swoops in as the former’s saviour. But is he really the saviour given his dark criminal past?
‘Out Of The Dust’ is directed by Philippa Langdale (‘A Discovery of Witches’) and Jim Loach (‘Criminal Record’). Gearey serves as the writer, creator and executive producer alongside Iona Vrolyk and Myar Craig-Brown for Double Dutch Productions. Filming is underway for ‘Out Of The Dustin in UK and will land soon globally only on Netflix.
