Netflix is bringing the world of “Squid Game” to life in Los Angeles with an immersive experience called “Squid Game: The Trials.”
In this experience, you’ll step into the intense world of the show, but rest assured, it won’t involve any of the life-threatening challenges seen on screen. Instead, participants will engage in a series of thrilling challenges, accumulating points as they progress through the game. The goal? To emerge as the ultimate winner, which will require nerves of steel, clever strategy, and perhaps a touch of luck.
But that’s not all! In addition to the high-intensity competition, there will be a “Night Market” where you can enjoy delicious Korean food and drinks. You can also explore a Squid Game store filled with themed merchandise and even capture memorable moments with unique photo opportunities.
Netflix has been actively creating live experiences based on its most popular shows and franchises, such as “Stranger Things,” “Bridgerton,” and “Money Heist.” This move is part of their strategy to build stronger connections with fans and bring the magic of their content to life. Earlier this year, they even opened a pop-up restaurant called “Netflix Bites” in Los Angeles, featuring cuisine inspired by their shows.
This is a super nice strategy but obviously limited to a very small area. Let’s see when Squid Game arrives.
