Netflix has ordered a new young adult series ‘XO, Kitty’, a spin-off of the popular ‘To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before’ film franchise. This latest series will also be based on the New York Times best selling book series by Jenny Han.
As per the official longline by Netflix, ‘XO, Kitty’ will follow teen matchmaker Kitty Song Covey who thinks she knows everything there is to know about love. But when she moves halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, she’ll soon realize that relationships are a lot more complicated when it’s your own heart on the line.
Starring Anna Cathcart (‘To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before’ film franchise) ‘XO, Kitty’ will be created by Jenny Han who will co-showrun and executive produce the Y/A dramedy along with Sascha Rothchild.
‘XO, Kitty’ will have ten 30 minutes episodes with a pilot co-written by Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian. Matt Kaplan of ACE Entertainment will serve as executive producer ‘XO, Kitty’ from Awesomeness Studios.
