Netflix released their slate of upcoming titles with a mix of originals as well as sequels for the most part. Netflix’s Pagglait was also part of this stellar list and revolves around Sandhya whose husband suffers a sudden death just a few months into their marriage. She is then forced to filter her priorities and make some hard decisions to get along with life.
Pagglait has an ensemble cast that includes some talented performers like Sanya Malhotra, Ashutosh Rana, Sheeba Chaddha, Sayani Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Natasha Rastogi, Rajesh Tailang, Shruti Sharam, and more. Pagglait is written and directed by Umesh Bist and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, Guneet Monga, and Achin Jain.
Pagglait is the story of a widow who finds herself unable to grieve at the death of her husband. Quirky relatives and a startling revelation about her husband make it a story with an unconventional theme.
While the audiences may be pumped up to see Pagglait for the humorous quirky way in which it tackles the subject it also has some extremely talented people handling the music department as Arjit Singh was roped in to do the same.
All in all, Pagglait has a full house of power-packed performers who have time and again proved their worth in slice of life films that have had an instant impact on people. Pagglait also chooses to tackle some tough questions with its unique theme and the humorous way in which the storyline has been crafted.
Pagglait will stream on Netflix on 26th March.
