Netflix will soon be releasing a documentary on the mysterious disappearance of a Malaysian flight MH370.
The documentary will follow the incident of the flight MH370 heading out from Kuala Lumpur International Airport and then never landing on any airport. It happened on the 8th March of 2014 and the plane was heading towards the Beijing Capital International Airport. The crew of the Boeing made their last communication with air traffic control when it had been almost 38 minutes after taking off. At that time, the plane was flying over the South China Sea. But the military radar could track down the plane even after an hour and it was seen to be deviating westwards its original path. The plane was heading towards the Andaman Sea crossing the Malay Peninsula.
There are many instances where airplanes never come back or mysteriously disappear without any trace. The Disappearance Of MH370 is one such incident yet, in some accounts it is more mysterious than the other cases. There was absolutely no rational reason behind this and many researchers failed to explain it. There are already many documentaries on the mystery, from the Discovery Channel and the Smithsonian Channel. It had a separate episode for it in the documentary series Horizon.
It is curious that Netflix is taking up such a popular subject for the documentary. Though it is well known that the platform has created quite a monopoly with great quality documentaries, we will have to wait to see what new dimensions they put to this mystery. Netflix will be covering the conspiracy theories and various other such unexplored areas regarding the case and it seems like the documentary will be an interesting watch.
It will be premiered on the platform on 8th March, the very day of the incident. If you are a fan of such mystery docu-series, you can give it a try.
