After the release of the second season in January, Netflix was silent about the future of its popular mother-daughter show ‘Ginny & Georgia’ which had topped the English TV List for four weeks in a row. The streaming giant has finally unveiled that ‘Ginny & Georgia’ will be returning to Netflix not just for season 3 but also the fourth one.
Season two ended at a cliffhanger with Georgia (Brianne Howey) being arrested at her own wedding and this left the viewers excited to know what happens next. According to the creator of ‘Ginny & Georgia’ Sarah Lampert, the shocking season 2 finale has in fact directly set the stage for the show’s third season.
While season 2 dived deep into issues like depression, first love and the fierce bond between mother and daughter, season 3 of ‘Ginny & Georgia’ will have them face new hurdles, new relationships and new challenges, in a way the audience haven’t seen before on the show.
Created by Sarah Lampert and showrun by Debra J. Fisher, ‘Ginny & Georgia’ stars Antonia Gentry, Brianne Howey, Diesel La Torraca, Felix Mallard, Scott Porter, Jennifer Robertson, Sara Waisglass, Raymond Ablack, Aaron Ashmore and Nathan Mitchell among others.
