Netflix has today unveiled the release date for Randeep Hooda’s debut web series ‘CAT’. Helmed by Balwinder Singh Janjua, ‘CAT’ is a revenge drama and marks Randeep’s return to Netflix after his role in the film, ‘Extraction’.
The release date of ‘CAT’ was unveiled with a new poster featuring Randeep Hooda as Gurnam in a turbaned intense look. Set against the backdrop of the Punjab hinterlands, ‘CAT’ is a crime thriller about an innocent man who is thrown into a deep, drug trafficking conspiracy between gang lords, cops and political powers.
‘CAT’ marks the the latest directorial venture of Balwinder Singh Janjua whose credits as a writer includes film like ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ and ‘Mubarakan’. The web series follows Januja’s association with Hooda post the completion of ‘Tera Kya Hoga Lovely’, a social comedy film.
Balwinder Singh Janjua serves as the creator, showrunner, writer and director of ‘CAT’. The series has been co-directed by Rupinder Chahal and Jimmy Singh who have co-written it with Anil Rodhan. Produced by Movie Tunnel Productions in association with Jelly Bean Entertainment, ‘CAT’ is produced by Balwinder Singh Janjua and Panchali Chakraverty.
And for the release date, Randeep Hooda’s revenge drama ‘CAT’ will premiere on exclusively on Netflix on 9th December, 2022.
