Netflix has finally revealed the new release date for its much-anticipated romantic comedy film ‘A Family Affair’. The Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron and Joey King starrer will premiere on Netflix worldwide on 28th June, 2024. The film was to earlier release on Netflix on 17th November, 2023.
Along with the new release date for ‘A Family Affair’, Netflix has also unveiled a few interesting images from the movie. The movie follows a young woman (Joey King), an assistant to a movie star (Zac Efron), whose life turns upside down when her boss strikes up a surprising romance with her mother (Nicole Kidman).
The first look image from ‘A Family Affair’ released by Netflix shows Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron’s characters holding hands as they enjoy a night out. Another image shows Joey King’s character, obviously hurt, gingerly holding an ice pack to her forehead, as her boss and her mom openly flirt with each other.
The official synopsis of ‘A Family Affair’ released by Netflix last year reads – “A surprising romance kicks off a string of comedic consequences for a young woman, her mother, and her movie star boss. Starring Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron, and Joey King”.
A Family Affair is directed by Richard LaGravenese and written by Carrie Solomon. Liza Koshy, Kathy Bates and Shirley MacLaine form the rest of the cast.
