Netflix’s Sweet home is the story of a kid who decided that it was time to die, but fate had other plans for him as he wakes up one day to find that most of the human species have turned into savage monsters. This troubled teen has to fight off all these monsters along with his apartment neighbours in a bid to survive and ensure the continuity of the human race.
After a while, the people realise that there are a few symptoms and no one can say for sure who is infected by this deadly infection. Who is safe and who is not is the ultimate question that haunts everyone as they are trying their best to keep themselves safe from this pandemic.
Netflix’s Sweet Home is a Korean series which is based on the webtoon that goes by the same name and is created by Kim Kan-bi and Hwang Young-chan. The live-action series stars the likes of Song Kang, Lee Jin-Wook and Lee Si-young.
Netflix has created a lot of Korean titles with underlying experimental themes recently, and this has all the fans of the genre excited so let us hope that this too proves to be as good as the hype that is surrounding it.
