Time and again we have stated a truth that goes like this, “Heeramandi is perhaps the most ambitious project on Indian OTT.”
Another truth that Spider-Man didn’t bother to tell you but we are, “With great ambition comes great risks”.
So what’s going on?
Sonakshi Sinha, one of the 6 leads in Heeramandi posted on Instagram that indicated that the release date of Heeramandi would be announced soon. The story was posted last night and we were expecting it to be released today.
Is there any release date?
Sadly no.
Netflix posted another story teasing the announcement of the release date soon.
However, there is no solid update. Heeramandi is highly anticipated and a lot of fans are waiting for its release. And it is simply toying with fan emotions that Netflix India is doing.
We do realize that these small doses of temptations are great from the marketing point of view and it would only help in creating a big buzz around the release date.
We hope they don’t announce it sometime during the night. It would help it create an international buzz but Heeramandi is quintessentially an Indian story and Netflix India can’t possibly be compromising on the engagement of the Indian masses.
But, enough with the fans. Regardless, Binged promises to keep you posted on whatever update drops.
