Darkness is set to take over France in late September, thanks to the release of Netflix’s ‘Castlevania: Nocturne’. The streaming behemoth has dropped a scintillating trailer for its forthcoming dark fantasy series. It will serve as a spin-off to the original Castlevania series, which ran from 2017 to 2021. The entire franchise is based on Konami’s video game series, primarily taking inspiration from the 1993 entry Castlevania: Rondo of Blood and its sequel, Symphony of the Night.
The new trailer of ‘Castlevania: Nocturne’ focuses on the rise of the Vampire Messiah, a dangerous and powerful being who vows to devour the sun. This forces Richter Belmont, a legendary Belmont vampire hunting clan descendant, and his allies to stop her at all costs and save humanity from her wrath.
Edward Bluemel has voiced the protagonist in the upcoming Netflix series. Along with him, the show’s voice cast comprises talents such as Pixie Davies, Thuso Mbedu, Nastassja Kinski, Sydney James Harcourt, Franka Potente, and more.
Created by Clive Bradley, the duo of Frederator Studios and Project 51 Productions has produced the series.
‘Castlevania: Nocturne’ will arrive on Netflix on September 28. Stay tuned for more updates.
