The ‘Fast & Furious’ fame Elsa Pataky’s next is an action packed Netflix film titled ‘Interceptor’ and the stunning first look of the movie is out now. Directed by Matthew Reilly, ‘Interceptor’ is coming to Netflix on 3rd June, 2022.
‘Interceptor’ follows JJ Collins (Elsa Pataky), a determined military captain facing down a coordinated assault on her isolated missile interceptor base. Collins must use all of her training to take down a team of mercenaries led by Alexander Kessel (Luke Bracey) before it’s too late for her — and for the world.
Talking about preparing for the role Pataky said, “In the four months leading up to filming, I was training four to five hours a day, learning all the moves. All 800 of them. It was really hard work, but I enjoyed every second of it.”
Pataky was guided by an exert stunt team that included veteran consultant Sam Hargrave, best known for his work on Extraction and Atomic Blonde, stunt double Haley Wright and stunt coordinator Ingrid Kleinig.
Matthew Reilly serves as the director and co-writer for ‘Interceptor’. He says, “The final film is relentless, fast and uncompromising, and the experience of being a first-time filmmaker was everything I hoped it could have been!”
‘Interceptor’ is executive produced by Pataky’s husband, Chris Hemsworth and will premiere in Netflix on 3rd June, 2022.
