Netflix has revealed the release date of Guy Ritchie’s upcoming series, The Gentlemen. Led by Theo James, the series serves as a spin-off to the 2019 original film, which had the likes of Matthew McConaughey, Charlie Haunna, Colin Farrell, Hugh Grant, Jeremy Strong, Michelle Dockery, and Henry Golding. It was a box office success, earning over $115 million globally against a $22 million budget.
The Gentlemen series will arrive on Netflix on March 7, 2024. The series revolves around Eddie Halstead (Theo James), who inherits a large estate from his father. However, he soon realises that his land has become a part of Mickey Pearson’s weed empire. This scenario attracts the attention of several notorious characters from Britain’s criminal underworld, as they also want Eddie’s property. Determined to free his family from those gangsters, Eddie himself tries to play the game and defeat them. However, as he starts sinking deep into the world of crime, he begins to like it.
Apart from Theo James, the series comprises talents like Kaya Scodelario, Daniel Ings, Joely Richardson, Giancarlo Esposito, Vinnie Jones, Ray Winstone, and more.
